Executive Vice President

Biography:: Silje Skogstad is Executive Vice President at Posten Bring AS, a leading Nordic postal- and logistics company with some 12 000 employees and activities across the Nordics. As part of the company’s top leadership, she is responsible for the Group’s strategy, sustainability, marketing, and communications activities.

Prior to her current role, Silje spent 18 years at the headquarters of DHL Group in Bonn, Germany, most recent as SVP Corporate Strategy. In that capacity, she focused on areas ranging from sustainability to various mergers and acquisitions and organizational development, especially within the fields of employer branding and company culture.

Silje’s expertise in logistics and global trade has made her a sought-after speaker and facilitator at conferences and events. She prioritizes developing others and has taken on mentorship of leadership talent with a focus on promoting women.

Silje is an experience non-executive board member. Currently, she is a board member at the NHO Norwegian Logistics and Freight Association, which represents some 500 companies within transport, logistics, warehousing and terminal operations in the road, rail, sea and airfreight industries.

During her time in Germany, Silje spent also five years as Chair of the Board at Bonn International School. Under her leadership, the school grew its student number and annual budget by some 20%.
